How to Automatically Forward Zillow Emails to Parserr

Are you a property manager with properties listed on Zillow? If so, you probably have dozens of Zillow leads flooding your mailbox. It’s humanly impossible to sift through these leads without missing a detail.

Well, this is where we’ve got you covered with our Zillow template, which lets you parse leads from your mailbox and export them to your integration of choice.

But, to get started, a crucial indispensable step is learning how to forward incoming leads from your Gmail to your Parserr inbox.

Here, we’ve rounded up a procedure for forwarding incoming emails for Gmail and Outlook web versions. If you use a Yahoo email client or other email client, please get in touch with support for personalized assistance.

Gmail

Step 1: Click on the “Settings” gear icon then select “See all settings.”

Step 2: A screen with multiple tabs will appear in the next section. Here, select “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” then hit the “Add a forwarding address” button.

A pop-up will appear as shown below

Step 3: Log in to your Parserr account and select “Dashboard” from the left-hand section. You’ll see your Parserr mailboxes showing specific addresses and number of emails. Copy the address to which you wish to auto-forward emails from Zillow.

Step 4: Paste this email address into the pop-up screen and click the “Next” button.

This will prompt a small tab to appear, asking you to confirm whether that’s the address to which you wish to be auto-forwarding Zillow emails. Click on “Proceed.”

Step 5: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Save changes.”

Step 6. Return to your Parserr dashboard then refresh it. You’ll see a dialogue box asking you to confirm whether you wish to proceed. Click on “Continue to inbox settings.”

Step 7. On the redirection page, either click the confirmation link or copy the verification code and paste it into your initial email address. Here, clicking the confirmation link is the easier option.

Step 8. This will redirect you to a new tab where all you need to do is confirm that setting. Once you hit the confirm button, return to Gmail.

Step 9: Voila! You have successfully added a forwarding address and this is what you’ll see. But, we’re not done yet…

Step 10: To create a filter that auto-forward all incoming Zillow Leads to your Parserr mailbox, go to “Filters and Blocked Addresses” that is still on the same screen then select “Create a new filter.”

Step 11: All incoming emails from Zillow will always have a standard format comprising a combination of strings followed by @convo.zillow.com domain.

In other words, what will be unique for any lead from Zillow will be the preceding strings but the domain will always remain unchanged.

Here, you’ll need to paste this @convo.zillow.com domain into the “From” tab that appears.

Step 12: Click on “Create filter” to save the setting.

Step 13: Again, this will pop a screen with a couple of commands from which you choose what to do with the email matching that filter.

When a message is an exact match with your select criteria, forward it to your initially-added Parserr mailbox and hit the “Create filter” button.

Step 14: Success! All incoming leads from Zillow will, by default, be forwarded to your chosen Parserr mailbox and ready to be Parsed and exported to your integration of choice!

Outlook

Step 1. Select the gear icon at the top right of the page then click on “view all settings.”

Step 2. On the pop-up window that appears, select “Email” followed by “Rules” then “Add new rule.”

Step 3. Name your rule then proceed to add a condition. In this case, my rule is named “Rental Application” and I want my rule to be configured based on what’s in the subject line or body. Typically, rental applications will always have the keyword “Zillow,” so that’s a text to use in that setting.

Step 4. Type “Zillow” in there

Step 5. Add an action followed by the “Forward to” route

Step 6. Log in to your Parserr account and select “Dashboard” from the left-hand section. You’ll see your Parserr mailboxes showing specific addresses and number of emails. Copy the address to which you wish to auto-forward emails from Zillow.

Step 7. Revert to your outlook settings and paste your Parserr mailbox then save.

Step 8. Voila, your rules are saved and you’re all set up for success!
