Privacy Policy

Parserr LLC undertakes to protect the Personal Data of its Clients. This Privacy Policy is part of the Terms of Service. Each word defined in the Terms of Service shall have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service.

By visiting or registering to the Service on the website parserr.com or the Parserr application, the Client acknowledges to comply with the Privacy policy, which may be amended from time to time without prior notice. Any modification or update shall be uploaded on the website Parserr.com or Parserr application.

1. Personal data collected

Parserr conform to the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR compliance standards. As a data controller, any emails sent, including attachments, are therefore retrievable and deletable, including all personal identifiable information. While registering to the Service, Parserr LLC collects, on a voluntary basis, from the Client a limited number of data, including Personal Data, which is solely for the performance of the Service and used in connection with the Service.

The Client may therefore be required to provide the following information:

First name
Last name
Email address
Phone
Company name
Company billing address
Company tax identification number (VAT number for European based Clients).

In addition, thereto, Parserr LLC may collect data concerning the Client’s preferences or behavior on the website Parserr and the Parserr application (what pages the Client visits, surveys, etc.).

The purpose of data collection within the website parserr.com and the Parserr application is to enhance the Client experience. This data collection is done by using cookies to better allow the Clients to create Accounts, use the Service, and to provide retail offers when necessary.

Parserr LLC does not collect any personal data that reveals, directly or indirectly, the racial and ethnic origins, the political, philosophical, religious opinions or trade union affiliation of persons, or information which concerns the health or sexual life of any person. Such sensible data shall not be sent, processed or stored through the Service.

1b. Google user data

If you decide to otherwise grant access to your Google Drive, Parserr LLC may also collect Personal Information that is already associated with your Google Service account. You may also have the option of sharing additional information with Parserr through Google. If you choose to provide such information, during registration or otherwise, you are giving Parserr LLC the permission to use and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Notice.

The Parserr software product accesses Google Drive data to list available Google Sheets files. Users may select a Google Sheets file to receive automatic updates based on data extracted from parsed emails. The app stores the ID of the selected sheet along with metadata indicating how to map parsed data to the Google Sheet, along with authorization information.

Parserr does not share or sell your Google Drive or Google Sheets information.

2. Cookies and other data collected

Traffic data is generated when the terminal equipment of the Client connects to the internet and is not sufficient to identify the Client. Parserr LLC may then collect additional data, such as the origin of the connection, the type and the version of the web browser used by the Client, and the duration of the connection. This data is only processed on an anonymous basis. This data may only be used for statistic purposes and service improvements.

Cookies are small text files placed on the terminal equipment of the Client, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. While the Client uses the Service either through the website parserr.com or through the Parserr application, Parserr LLC uses cookies, in order to collect data related to the Client’s use of the site. The purpose is to (i) track the location of the Client, (ii) identify the preferences of the Clients, (iii) enhance security (cookies are also used for the authentication system of the Parserr application). The Client may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on his/her/its browser, however this may impair the full functionality of the website parserr.com. Parserr only uses the minimum cookies required and has implemented all measures to ensure that privacy is protected at all times. All cookies used by parserr.com and associated subdomains are in accordance with current EU Cookie Law and GDPR compliance.

3. Data Processing

Personal Data of the Clients are collected and processed by Parserr LLC fairly and lawfully, in compliance with the Client’s legal rights. However the Client has full control of their data, including

use of Data for direct or indirect marketing purposes
Your right to ask for a copy of any of your personal Data held by Parserr LLC where we will return all data held within a 30 day window.
Your right to your data to be deleted from the servers and databases of Parserr LLC where we will delete all data held within a 30 day window.

4. Security

Parserr LLC. takes data security very seriously and its system is compliant with the latest web security standards. Parserr LLC uses full SSL encryption, between its server and the Client once the latter is logged in and for the transfer to the Client. The login system is protected against brute­force attacks, injection of malicious scripts and other commonly known attack types. The access to the Service or to the Client’s Account and thus to the processed data is only possible through a valid password. The passwords are stored encrypted hash keys in the database and not visible to the staff of Parserr.

Parserr Solution is running on the Amazon Webservices Cloud, which datacenter is located in North Carolina, USA. All servers are always up­to­date with the latest security releases. A full backup is made on a daily basis and all data is constantly stored on different hard­drives to prevent data loss in case of a hardware failure. Personal data pertaining to the Clients will be deleted at the latest two (2) months after the closing or deletion of the Client’s Account.

5. Transfer of data

Upon express request and at his/her/its own risks, the Client may also decide to transfer the Parsed Content to third parties for cloud integration purposes notably, an API endpoint owned by the Client or by third party service providers such as Dropbox, Gmail, Twilo, Mailchimp, etc.

If requested by law or by court order, Parserr LLC may provide the Personal Data to the legal authorities.

6. User’s rights

7. Communication by Parserr LLC

Parserr LLC may send emails to the Client for technical or administrative purposes or to inform the Client of the latest development of the Service. Parserr is very concerned about your privacy and we will never provide your email address to a third party. Parserr LLC may also send unrelated commercial offers to the Client but in relation with the activity of the Client. Users in the EU are given the option to opt into or decline these email communication upon first login. Emails include an unsubscribe option, and email preferences can be updated at any time within Parserr.
